In April Kelsey Shanks went to the Kurdish region of Iraq twice in 2017 conducting on the ground interviewing internally displaced persons (IDP's) from the regional conflict and security issues. Kelsey is a frequent attendee at both practitioner and academic workshops and events. Her in county experience and knowledge being much sought after.
